Do You Have The Will To Press On????

Being sick for the past 2 day has taught me a valuable lesson. My health is the most important thing I have in this life time. A long time wealth seeker and financial freedom advocator. Seeing that I'm 21 yeas of age i sometimes get side tracked by egotistical thoughts. Use less ideologies about making a million and stunting on those who said " you can't do that". Well I'm no longer on this road to failure, I've seen the light of day clear than before.

Success to me was fancy clothes, ice-ed out chains, half a million dollar cars and a bottle of Rose'. The fact is the only thing I consider wealth to be is my health. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said " The first wealth is health".

So instead of jumping around my room screaming for universal abundance. I no longer chase success. The more I chase the quicker it dispenses from my corneas. Success like happiness and good health must not be pursued but ensued. I've let go of my inability to hold onto my good health by no longer chasing it. Learning to become grateful for what I have, I'm currently in the healing process. Just expecting things to get better. And like all things, we get what we expect.

So what does this mean to you?
You can learn from my mental blunders by practicing the following.
1. Forget about success. The more you worry about success, happiness or good health the more it will elude you. In order to be what you desire you must for get about it and all it to manifest. Soon you will be surrounded with what you wanted. And gracious to have stepped aside the lime light of pursuit into place of positive expectancy. Do this and all will come to the individual who believes.

2. Be grateful to be able to feel pain. For with the ability to get sick we will never be able to embrace joy of good health. Find appreciation in ever given moment of your life. You are the gyro compass of your thoughts. Never sacrifice your attitude just because your body may not be up to par. We are what we think. Think good health to get back into the game of life. The difference between the eternally sick and quick fixes is one word. Attitude. What yours today?

In the race of life, we may all lose track of the facts. Forget about success, wealth and good health. By not chasing it. The more we chase, the more it eludes us. remember we are what we think. Think good thoughts and work daily towards your goals. One love!

Can't Trust Uncle Russell Or Can you?

For the past week I've been reading Russell Simmons Best selling book Do You. Chopped filled with goodies, let me illustrate his 12 laws f success. Maybe your familiar with these ideas. If not, pay attention closely. These wise words of wisdom can change your life.

Law Number one
See your vision and stick to it
Most of us have an idea of what we want to accomplish. But we tend to give up before the storm hits. Or we sail along the deserted seas, crash landed on abandoned island. If you have a dream or a strong desire for success. You will get up early, stay up late, practice the affirmations and follow your vision till the end. Why? Because when the why is big enough, then how never matters. Stick to your dreams.

Law Number Two
Always do you
Take action today. Do what you think needs to be done right now. Don't wait till the last minute. I used to do this when I attended Stony Brook University. Every time I had to take an exam. I would wait at least 2 days prior before I studied. i usually got off with a C or a High D +. Don't make this mistake. Start now. And always do you. You can do anything you put your mind too. Start today to end procrastination.

Law Number Three
Get your mind right
Do whatever is necessary to get your mind right. Repeating affirmations, using creative visualization or meditating on a daily basis. Success or failure in life is not based upon action. But upon the mental attitude one may hold. Grip an attitude of positivity, not destructive thinking.

Law Number Four
Stop fronting and start today
The present moment is all which matters. Not too long ago I was severely depressed and guilt stricken. Being a college dropout made me believe success lied in the diploma not the mind set. Having grown from this fabricated mindset, I've learned, success is determined by purposeful action. Not resentments of the past. Take action now. What ever you want you can have. Once you stop fronting and take action today. Don't waste a minute. Tomorrow is never guaranteed; all we have is now.

Law Number Five
Never less than you best
We are at your happiest when we are had at work. With out head down, no external distractions and doing what we love to do. This is the key to successful living. So many people hate the word hard work. Thats, why so many people fail to succeed in life. Long hours, longer nights and sacrifice just scare away the masses. But when your going what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. Choose this path, how? Step out of your comfort zone and do what you 've been afraid of doing all this time.

Law Number Six
Surround your self with right people
Association breed similarities. You wouldn't find a crack dealer from Brooklyn handing out with the president of def jam records right. Socializing about how they can increase the peace on a global scale. Why? Like attracts like. Who you are is the direct reflection of who you talk to day in and day out. Who you ask for advice, who you joke around with or even make love to is a reflection of who you really are. If you don't want to be like these people, you know what to do.

Law Number Seven
There are no failures only quitters
You fail once you quit my friends. The man of woman who wants it the baddest hang onto the cliff longer after the majority have lossen their grips.
People like Edison, Oprah and Russell, persevered. You can do the same. You must face your fear, stand against mental dis pare and dismember the thoughts of doubt. Severing the head of hesitation while walking confidently though the torturous realms of greatness. Be you. And as Russell would say " Do You".

Law Number Eight
Science of success: plant good seeds
Your mind is like a garden. What ever thought you plant, will sprout. As long as you continue to nurture this belief it will one day manifest into a horrifying harvest of a daisy expression of love and success. Make sure you keep your self talk and thoughts congruent with a life you want to live. Leave tribal conditionings of the past. Open a new chapter in your life, now and forever.
We become what we think about. So who do you want to become?

Law Number Nine
You can never get before you can give
Practice the law of sowing and reaping. You cannot reap more than you sow. And you cannot sow more then you reap. Learn to end this incessant adolescent mindset to take, take , take. Give or your self more than you ever imagined. Only then will you succeed more than you ever thought possible.

Law Number Ten
Successful people stay open to change
Nothing in the world will stay the same. It's best to accept change and deal with it. Change should never scare you one bit. We are all changing. No one here has found the fountain of youth , correct? The fact is change is apart of life. Successful people acknowledge this and appreciate this very same fact. Without change we lie early in our graves, before the sun goes down. Mentally asleep to the wonderful world around us.

Law Number Eleven
Be powerful, be heard
Become an assertive powerful positive person. An individual who speaks with authority and takes nothing from no one. If you believe in a issue stand up against in justice. If you live for a purpose, let your voice he hear. Be the change you want to see in yourself. It starts with you.

Law Number Twelve
Spit the truth to power
Stand like a man for what you believe in. Don't be scared to voice you opinion. Even if you'll get booed for it. It's better to be your self than anyone else. For we can only be who we are. If not what is the point.

The secret to success lies not with out, but within the thought of man. How you can learn to produce productive thoughts?I've gather 5 interesting ways to inscribe positivity into your lifestyle.

1. Meditation

Our inner citric is always at it's whits end. The time to end the verbal assault on your self esteem is now. Silence can do several things. First , it can build confidence. The self assurance you need to handle big tasks or confront major fears. Secondly, Silence advocates an organized mind. When you feel confused and scattered in all your doings. Go to a place of mental sobriety for 15 minutes. It's the best way to contact your higher self for proper guidance. Third, mediation increases the peace and shows thought can be conquered and not have it conquer you.

Sanctioned by best selling author Napoleon hill, the process of auto suggestion is affirming to ones self a goal or desire. Forcing the idea into the subconscious mind. Which is considered th e most powerful aspect of the human mind. Repetition of any idea will create the beleif.
Since we all live in the perimeters of what we beleieve. Our beleifs sysytems tell us what we expect from life? What ae some of you expectations? Are they posiitve or negative?

3. Imagination
Seeing is believing was the last words I read to my cousin of 5 years. As she I was tucking her into her Dora the explorer bed sheets, she asked " Do dreams really come true". I answered " Only if you want them to".

The best method of creating the certainty necessary for a goal is visualization. Imagine what you want to experience, believe you already have it and then take action when necessary.

4. Gratitude

Our thoughts are effected by what we consume. Chopping down cookies, waffles and icream each and every dy destroys posiitve thoughts but enhances negative gibberish. Learn to effectively balace your daily meals. Rather than gulf down a cereal bar, et and apple. Swap the muffin for a banana. It will make one hell of difference.

How can you create what you want?

We all want to live happy successful lives right? But how can we guarantee this? How can you guarantee success, happiness and prosperity in this world. In the times where 30,000 Us troops are going to Iraq in July or Haiti has just been obliterated by a major earth quake. ( I pray for my city). What can guarantee a life of successful living?

The answer is Attitude.

Without a attitude of positivity, it's easy to get sucked into a world of hurt and pain. A mind set which condones evil rather than good. Chiseled negative beliefs of a racial, social, cultural or spiritual discombobulation will surly stop you from self advancement in this life. Building a life of of misery not harmony.


Cultivating empowering beliefs can easily solve all of your problems. The fact is a positive attitude before any given task or situation, sets the bar for your survival. Saying "I can't" will only garden a mind of impossibility. But saying "I can" seeds a world of excitement and accomplishment. Thus, raising your limiting beliefs and unlocking your true potential. A attitude of success draws greatness! An attitude of love, releases positivity.

Without a successful positive attitude towards, people, your job, career, wealth or present unfinished tasks, you'll never succeed in life. This is just the cold hard truth of the human mind. Our mind being a garden can only sprout what we think and believe. Begin to believe empowering beliefs to conquer any thing life throws at you.
We can choose to yes to life or no. The choice is yours. The hands you were dealt are not as powerful as how you respond to it.

Let me illustrate powerful story on Positive expectation.

After speaking to a group of students at my old elementary school, i was approached by an old friend. He was in an intense state of panic as he tried to express himself. Saying " I got a Medical School exam tomorrow, I need help. I been studying for a weeks now ,but I don't seem to have the confidence to pass the test. Pleas help me. If I fail ill be the laughing stalk of my family. But if I pass I can continue towards my dream. PLEASE HELP ME!

Almost creating a scene , I told the young man to relax. He obviously need my help, but i was in the middle of discussing an important topic when he startled me.

Several minutes later, I gave him one peace of advice which changed his life forever. I said " repeat the following prayer" I can do all things with the grace of a positive attitude. I know I can pass this test. I am positive I can pass this test. I know I can be successful". I advised him to repeat the affirmation while he walked home, before heading off to bed and upon waking the next morning.

1 month later I received a phone call from this young man. He had passed his test and was on his way to med school. I utter excitement , I told him to keep up the good work. Keep that attitude positive and work toward your dream. This was about 3 years ago. Now on his last year in Medical school before his residency, I've been told he will graduate at the top of his class. Good for him!

But why was this young man able to overcome is fear? What ever the mind constantly hears, it will believe. Repeating a phrase or statement over and over again drills the idea into your subconscious mind. Since our subconscious mind controls 98% of what we believe. He convinced himself of his success before he accomplished it. What he wanted so bad was already inside of him. The Prayer just released it from its cage.

You must do the same in order to overcome life obstacles. Never panic in times of bravery. Stay strong and focus. Because if you do, you'll succeed in all your endeavors.

4.We Hate Reading
Never opening up a book to read is the surest way to fail in life. Reading playboy or gossip magazines can entertain the mind and loins. But without educational and motivational literature, your mind will begin to decay. Ending education once class finishes is the easiest way to fail.

5.Watching Television
6 hours a day is the average an American watches television. If your apart of this group, you've already failed. Newscasters have already implemented fear, worry, guilt and McDonald's commercials into your mind. Shoving away the possibility of success and righteous thinking out the door. Continue to watch t.v for hours upon hours at time, if you want to fail.

6.Listening to the Radio
You will surely fail the test of life by taking the wrong answers from negative music, or debit consultations commercials. Radio only reinforces fear, which keep the majority of people from succeeding in life. Non-stop radio blabs about irrelevant subject matter of a negative basis will keep you stuck under the rug of success. So if you want to fail, continue to listen to the radio all day every day.

7.Fast Food Eating

Consuming negative foods such as greasy fat food burgers or French fries dipped in milk shakes every day kills your self esteem. How can you be successful if your consumed with negative foods? Don't you know your thinking is effected by the foods you eat.

For example: Why do you think woman who has just lost an inordinate amount of weight feels better about herself? Why does she feel more vivacious? 1. Attack your fear of failure with action. Nothing kills fear faster than implementing a task or much needed goal. It heal the mind from stress and eliminates procrastination. No longer will you be taken in the chambers of laziness but set upon a throne of successful living and accomplishment. Be a man or women of action not talk. Walk your talk, so your talk can properly match your walk.

2. Meditation is one of the best ways to heal your mind from mental turmoil. Too many times do we find ourselves stuck in a mental rut or convinced of self defeat. Meditation does several things such as solves our most pressing problems, organizes our mind, elevates stress, fear and worry, plus its establishes peace of mind. Something we all need from time to time. So make a daily habit of silencing your mind for 30 minutes a day. You'll learn to love this activity, i guarantee it.

5. Successful people don't have time to watch television. Instead of dedicating 1/3 of your life to watching t.v. Why not watching educational or motivation videos on right thinking? Why not use the Internet to indulge in positive information rather than negative? Your mind is only as good as the information we put into it. So you have to constantly put the good stuff in the get the good stuff out.

6. Trade radio air play for audio books on personal growth and self help. Remove the negative raps of commercial with a Think and Grow Rich audio book. Learn to educate your self as much as possible. Use your mind for good not bad.

7. Consume high energy substances to surge your mind with positive thoughts. Replace the chocolate bar with an apple, shove away the cheesecake with a salad and put away the bag of potatoes chips for a nutritional energy bar. When you consume nutritional produce you will think better, feel better and act better. Summoning more than enough energy to complete your task for the day.

8. Fear can be broken down into False Evidence Appearing Real, Maybe you've heard of this? The only way fear can hold you back is by dwelling on expecting the worst rather than the best. Learn to expect the best and your fears will subside. Don't forget to act upon your fears. It's one of the bet ways to conquer them.

9. Associate with positive goal oriented people. People who have their eyes of happy thoughts, positive expectation and a desire to change the world they reside in. You Don't Need Time To Yourself

Can you believe the outrage of this blog post? Of course you need time to yourself. If you don't know who you are; how can you get to where you need to go. Most people are lost in translation. Looking for the next exit off energy drink boulevard, reality show drive and news broadcasting rodeo drive. Confused and frustrated over the parallels of thought and action. Most are stuck in the 21st Century attached to the outlet of frustration and anger. Without peace of mind, life has become harder for most than necessary.

What can you Do?

Set time aside each and every to gather your thoughts. Not only your thought but your short term and long term agendas. Too many times are we too preoccupied with other peoples needs. Thus, we forget to tend to our own. We end up trying to satisfy everyone else. Falling flat on our face, in spite of our diligent efforts.

Bill Cosby said it best " I don't know the key to success, but i know the key to failure is Trying to make everyone happy". You may be a mother, father or caring grandmother, but as a human being you need self reflection. A time to gather the shattered pieces of your mind and Heart. A time where you can assemble your idea for proper execution.

Too many times we get caught in the duties of our lives. Always on the go, constantly in a rush. Do yourself a favor and slow down a bit. Set aside a "me time", as I'd like to call it.
Here is a list of what you can do. It's all about slowing down.

Practice Disconnection: Turn off your cell phone, step away from your emails, shut off the television and radio today. Too often are we kept entertained with the outside world. Attached to others and not ourselves. Never truly allowing ourselves to be internally healed. Cease the constant connection with others for a day and get to know yourself.

Take a Walk- Go today an surround yourself with nature. Man is and will always be a creature of the jungle. We evolved from these regions now replaced by bridges and sky scrapers. The closer we get to nature to more relax we become. Shed away to stress by taking a walk in your local park. Embrace the lovely creatures, and bask within in the beautiful sun rise an benevolent sunset.

Meditate: Silencing your mind is the most natural and easiest way to ending mental clutter. It organizes your mind, let you know what 's important, increases confidence an allows you too answer your most pressing questions. Use meditation to end internal struggle. Here are the steps:

1. Close your eyes
2. Breathe Deeply
3. Let every thought go
4. Embrace the silence
5. Repeat, Reuse, Recycle

Personal Sabbath- Dedicate one day to self pampering. You can soak your self in a wonderful bubble bath, watching a matinee with a loved one, create a special dish for your self, rent all your favorite funny movies an have a blast on the couch, visit the elder at the old folks home, sit down pulped on your bed reading something uplifting or attend a Broadway show with your best friend. Do what ever you want as long as it's fun , calm, relaxing and enjoyable.

Read- Rather than watch television for 4 hours at a time, why not open up a wonderful book? Why not dive face first into the wonderful works of Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson or Wayne Dyer? Why not be entertained by the thought of great thinkers rather than the pictures of violence and promiscuity? Self education is a great way to produce a positive peaceful piece of mind. Start today by reading 15 minutes in something high educational, motivational and soulful. You'll be happier, I'll guarantee it.

How To Super Charge Your Life

Put your seat belts on, place your trays in it's up right position, while we pursuit the world of Happiness!

What is happiness?

Can you truly be happy on this big blue planet in space? The answer to this question, of course my dear lad. Happiness was your birth right. Upon entering this world, we all exhumed happiness. But something happened?

We became conditioned to fear everything besides the cookie monster and chocolate cover truffles. Believing what people told us at every given moment. Every single kind of fear was instill into our heart. Worrying about the mortgage to education for children controlled our lives. While happiness seemed to far from our subconscious thoughts, i can help you restore this magnificent feeling.

But how?

The facts is happiness not some illusive, esoteric, diabolical trait concocted mad scientist in a basement. Its very simple: Happiness is the organization of thought. What matters is most is how you think, not how much money you spend on your new BMW M5 series.

Millions get the feed bad information when it comes to euphoria. External possessions can never keep you happy, for I'll be an endless consumption of meaning less products. As you hold in your hands an empty heart and a mouthful of filth. Your soul will drift for in to the graveyard, where the most miserable people have been laid to rest. Seeking external pleasure for true happiness, million die everyday due to negative thinking.

Abraham Lincoln said it best " People are only as happy as they make themselves up to be". What you think about matters. The thought you hold with in your subconscious mind dictates your current mood. Think of negativity and depression; you'll never be successful or happy. But think happiness and you'll be successful.

Wha tI've learned is people are not happy because they are successful. They are successful because they are happy.

Let me share with you a story of how, making a choose makes all the difference.

A 92 year old, petite well poised and proud lady, is fully dressed each morning by 8 am. With her hair fashionably quaffed and makeup perfectly applied. Even thought, she is legally blind and moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years , recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby. she smile sweetly when told her room was now ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, they provided a visual description of her tiny room. Including the I-lid sheets that been hung on the window. "I love it" she stated with the enthusiasm of 8 year old,having presented with a new puppy.

But Mrs. Jones you haven't even seen the room yet? Just wait.

"That doesn't have anything to do with it", She said

Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not. It doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged. It's how i arrange my mind.

Steps to Happiness

1. Contemplate your self each and every day as a happy and cheerful human being. Rather than going to sleep thinking about all the wrong which happened in your day. Think about all the right. Go to sleep feeling positive not negative.

2. Read positive material. Take a Television and radio fast. Listen and watch only positive programming for an extended period of time. You'll enjoy it, I promise.

3. Associate with positive people. Your association is like an elevator either your five closest friends are bringing you down or up. Which floor are you heading to?

4. Speak to yourself every morning and night with confident positive self talk. Who you become is what you say to yourself. Say positive happy things to be a positive and happy person. As the bible says " Death and Life are in the power of the tongue" - Proverb 18:21

5. Repeat , reuse, recycle, have fun!
